This person is responsible for ensuring quality steel bars are prepared and packaged to meet our customers' needs.Job DutiesHandle, sort, stack and bundle finished products and scrap materialsInspect finished bar product during continuous processingTag and inventory finished product using automated weighing and piece count systemsAssist Machine Operators in equipment set-up and aid in troubleshootingClean machines and immediate work areasOperate overhead cranes and forkliftCommunicate clearly over 2-way radio with Machine OperatorsWork independently and/or in a team setting with minimal supervisionFollow all safety rulesPerform other activities as requiredWorking ConditionsIndustrial Rolling Mill with majority of working time indoorsPhysically demanding; lifting up to 23 kg (50lbs) regularlyFast-paced environmentCombination of sitting, standing, walking for extended periodsQualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDWork in a team setting and communicate effectivelyGood attendance and work ethicMust be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environmentBasic computer skillsExcellent oral communication, dependability,
