Barber Collins Security is looking for a full time and part time experienced Mobile Patrol Guard. The candidate must be flexible, reliable and dependable; will be required to do both mobile patrol and foot patrol duties*.*
Please note: Candidates must be able to safely and respectfully operate and maintain company issued vehicles. Therefore, a full G class driver’s license with driver's abstract is mandatory (this will be required).
Shifts:
8pm to 8am 3 days per week Schedule to be determined
Responsibilities:
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a secure and secure environment.
- Interact regularly with the public with importance on good customer service and public relations.
- Conduct regular motor patrol duties.
- Perform regular foot patrol of any interiors and exteriors necessary.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances, vehicle gates and fence lines.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability,
particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
- Perform parking tagging procedure where assigned.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.
- Full G class driver's license with driving experience.
Qualifications:
- G license.
- Clean driving record (an abstract will be required).
- 3 years security experience preferably in a mobile patrol position.
- Able to enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
