Mobile Security Officer

Mountain Eagle Security Ltd. is currently seeking reliable and professional Mobile Security Officers to join our team.

This position is ideal for security professionals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and responding to a variety of situations throughout their shift.

Position Responsibilities

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security patrol services at multiple client locations. Duties may include:

- Conducting scheduled mobile patrols of client properties.
- Responding to alarms and other security-related calls.
- Checking buildings, gates, doors, windows, parking areas, and other designated areas.
- Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, property damage, or other incidents.
- Completing detailed patrol and incident reports using our electronic reporting system.
- Maintaining regular communication with the dispatch or management team.
- Providing a visible security presence at client locations.
- Assisting clients and members of the public in a professional and respectful manner.
- Following all company policies, procedures, and client-specific instructions.
- Operating a company patrol vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Working independently while maintaining regular communication with the operations team.

Requirements

Applicants must

- Hold a valid BC Security Worker Licence.
- Have a valid driver's licence and a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Be reliable, punctual, and qualified.
- Have strong communication and observation skills.
- Be comfortable working independently.
- Be capable of completing written and electronic reports.




- Be comfortable using a smartphone and electronic security applications.
- Be physically capable of conducting patrols on foot when required.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Be available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Previous mobile patrol, security, law enforcement, military, or related experience is considered an asset, but is not necessarily required for the right candidate.

Working Conditions

This is an active security position. Officers may be required to:

- Drive between multiple locations throughout their shift.
- Conduct foot patrols and property inspections.
- Work alone for extended periods.
- Work outside in rain, snow, cold, heat, and other weather conditions.
- Respond to unexpected situations and changing priorities.
- Work overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Applicants should understand that this position is not a stationary security position. Officers are expected to remain active throughout their shift and complete assigned patrols and duties.

Uniform and Equipment

Mountain Eagle Security provides the required company uniform and security equipment. Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and equipment requirements.
