Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Montessori Casa Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to the Montessori philosophy. This role is ideal for an educator who is creative, organized, and eager to foster the growth and development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori lessons tailored to individual learning styles
- Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in core academic and life skills areas
- Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Integrate technology to support and enhance learning
- Track student progress, prepare reports, and communicate regularly with families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students with diverse learning needs
- Participate in professional development and school community initiatives
- Ensure professionalism in all communications and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements Education & Certification





- Montessori Diploma from AMI or MACTE-accredited institution (required)
- Candidates currently enrolled in a recognized Montessori diploma program may also be considered

Experience

- At least 1 year of experience in a Montessori classroom preferred

Health & Safety Requirements

- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Recent (within 6 months) Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date immunization records

Skills & Attributes

- Strong classroom management and planning skills
- Ability to create inclusive and engaging lesson plans
- Proficient in educational software and digital tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Creative talents in Art are an asset
- Additional language skills (French, Spanish, Mandarin, or Sign Language) are a plus
- Skilled in designing and using Montessori materials
