The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our Front Office Team. We are a 4 diamond, 500 room all suite full-service property seeking a vibrant and dedicated Night Audit Supervisor.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Night Audit Supervisor will supervise and assist with the Night Audit & Front Desk operations.

This includes: ensure the maintenance of financial controls and compliance with the hotel standards; act as the Manager on Duty; coordinate with other departments to ensure quality of service is provided to all guests; handle special requests; ensure the health & safety of all guests during the midnight shift and resolve guest concerns or any problems that may arise. Most importantly, the Night Audit Supervisor and his/her team will provide ultimate service and courtesy to all guests from the time of registration to the time of departure.

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support the Night Audit team and oversee overnight front desk operations.
- Register guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and handle guest account settlements.
- Review, verify, balance, and reconcile daily financial transactions and accounts.
- Complete night audit procedures, including posting room and tax charges and preparing daily reports.
- Ensure all credit card, direct bill, food and beverage, and miscellaneous transactions are balanced and accurately recorded.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and guest history information.
- Perform concierge-related duties and provide information and assistance to guests.
- Adhere to hotel safety, security, and fire procedures.




- Communicate important guest and operational information to other departments and incoming shifts.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary in hospitality or accounting an asset
- Previous supervisory experience along with robust organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- A Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel Front Desk or Night Audit role
- Excellent verbal and written English skills are a necessity, secondary language an asset
- Experience with OnQ system and Micros preferred
- Able to make leadership decisions with regard to guest service and hotel issues independently
- Able to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands
- Proven ability to lead and motivate Team Members
