Nurse Practitioner - Saskatchewan / Manitoba (Remote Telehealth)

TeleTest is hiring Nurse Practitioners licensed in Saskatchewan or Manitoba to help expand virtual care for patients in these provinces. Registration in either province qualifies; registration in both is an asset.

Location: Fully remote within Canada.

Employment type: Part-time contract.

Pay: CA$80 to CA$120 per hour.

Schedule: Flexible, 4 to 8 hours per day. Please include your weekly availability.

About TeleTest

TeleTest provides virtual care in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta and is expanding into other Canadian provinces. We help patients access medically indicated testing, understand their results, and receive appropriate treatment. Patient interests guide our clinical decisions.

What you will do

- Conduct consultations through secure messaging, asynchronously and in real time as needed.
- Manage common primary care concerns suited to virtual care, including urinary symptoms, skin concerns, sexual health and STI testing, women's health, and chronic condition follow-up.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging when appropriate.
- Prescribe within your authorized scope of practice in the province where the patient is located, and arrange pharmacy delivery when needed.
- Provide patient education, preventive care, and harm-reduction counselling.




- Consult the clinical team for complex cases and participate in ongoing clinical training and case-based learning.

Requirements

- Active Nurse Practitioner registration in Saskatchewan or Manitoba, with authority to practise in the relevant clinical scope. You do not need registration in both provinces to apply.
- Provincial billing/practitioner number, as applicable to your role.
- At least 2 years of experience in a primary care setting, such as family practice, community health, or urgent care.
- Comfort managing common outpatient concerns suitable for virtual care.
- Clear, empathetic communication and a commitment to patients' best interests.
- Comfort using electronic medical records, secure messaging, and digital workflows.

Assets, not requirements
- Experience in STI testing, harm reduction, or addiction-related screening.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual consultations.
- Registration in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba, or other Canadian provinces.
- Interest in ongoing professional development and improvements to virtual care.
