We are looking for an experienced HVAC Designer ready to take on a broader technical and client-facing role. In addition to completing HVAC designs, this position will provide technical support to our design team, conduct client and Tarion inspections, work directly with HVAC contractor clients, and help develop our Building On-Site Services division. The ideal candidate combines strong technical HVAC knowledge with excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and a commitment to delivering accurate work on time.

- Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC design experience, with 5+ years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heat loss/heat gain calculations, duct design, equipment sizing, ventilation, and residential HVAC systems.
- Ability to independently complete HVAC designs and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to review designs for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support to other HVAC designers.
- Comfortable conducting on-site inspections,



identifying deficiencies, and preparing clear, professional reports.
- Experience working directly with HVAC contractors, builders, and clients and responding confidently to technical questions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, inspections, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and committed to high-quality work and client service.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites as required.
- HVAC, mechanical, building science, engineering technology, or related education is considered an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
