Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Liability Claims Adjuster is to investigate, defend and/or settle property damage liability claims from customers and subrogated insurers. You will also prepare Small Claims Court legal documents, represent the company at small claims pre-trials, and act as a witness at Superior Court examinations for discovery and Small Claims Court trials.ResponsibilitiesReceiving and reviewing incoming calls and emails from customersCommunicating with customers by phone and email to arrange for remediation of property damageWorking with emergency contractors to provide emergency property remediation services to customers and to obtain repair estimatesWork with company field team to investigate claims, including by gathering and preserving evidenceWhere appropriate,
