This role supports the Finance team and works closely with internal stakeholders across the organization.Description of DutiesAccounting & Financial OperationsMaintain monthly bank and general ledger reconciliationsPrepare and post journal entriesPerform full-cycle accounting and general ledger maintenanceProcess designated accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsReview weekly cheque and EFT payments for accuracyLiaise with financial institutions and support banking activitiesHave an understanding and appreciation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles and expected to support Community Living Mississauga's commitment to DEI by demonstrating respect for diverse people and contributing to an inclusive culture where everyone can connect, belong, and grow.Budgeting, Reporting & AnalysisAssist with preparation of the annual operating budgetPrepare internal and external financial reports, including Passport One reportsAnalyze financial data such as costs, revenues, cash flow, and salary/FTE informationMonitor expenditures for assigned cost centresAudit & CompliancePrepare audit working papers and supporting documentationRespond to audit inquiries and support the annual audit processEnsure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and funder requirements, including MCCSS standardsCommunication & TeamworkRespond to financial inquiries from managers and staffCollaborate with internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in team meetings, training,
