Become an Intensive Child Development Specialist at Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society, contributing to the growth of young children in Edmonton through expert, in-home support. Your expertise will guide families facing developmental and emotional challenges.This full time position at the Kikosewin Hub requires delivering specialized services to approximately 25 families. You will assess their developmental needs and collaboratively design individualized support plans that emphasize relationship and cultural grounded practices.



This role encompasses both documentation and transition planning to ensure families continue receiving necessary support.Key Responsibilities:Conduct intake and eligibility assessment for referralsCreate individualized care plans based on family collaborationDeliver consistent in-home support tailored to family needsMaintain detailed documentation and reporting for program requirementsConnect families to ongoing community and cultural support servicesRequirements:Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related disciplineExperience working directly with children and their familiesKnowledge in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive practicesAvailability of a reliable vehicle for transportation needsSuccessful completion of background checks and First Aid/CPR certificationBring your child development expertise and help foster resilience in Indigenous families during transformative times.
