Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the incumbent's role will be to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities in accordance with the established standards and procedures,



while using safe work methods.What You'll DoFollows the established cleaning and maintenance work checklistsLaunders linen, rags, mop headsCleans windows, mirrors, bathrooms, showers, walls, pathways, and floorsCleans and polishes furniture and fixturesStocks necessary supplies (towels, sheets, soap, lotion, shampoo)Removes debris from driveways and all other areas inside and outSweep, mop, and clean locker roomsProper disinfecting/deep cleaning of all buildings, steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation areasEnsure that guest facilities are well maintained and sanitizedFill and maintain lockers when requiredBe knowledgeable in all spa services to provide assistance to guests when necessaryPerform other related dutiesProfile neededWhat is the profile needed in order to be successfulHigh School diplomaMinimum one-year experience in housekeepingExperience working in the tourism industry, an assetWHMIS certification, an assetHealth and Hygiene training, an assetStrong teamwork ethicBe in good physical shape; ability to work outdoors during all months of the year (weather appropriate uniform provided)Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50lbsWhenYou will work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.WhatThe salary is based on the pay scale and benefits in effect at Thermea Spa Village.
