City Manager's Office Thunder Bay, Ontario P7E6H8As a Coordinator Financial Reporting, you'll play a key role in supporting corporate financial accountability, funding compliance, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with departments across the organization, you'll help ensure accurate financial reporting, maximize external funding opportunities, and provide analysis that supports sound business and financial decisions.At the City, you'll gain exposure to a variety of projects, helping you grow your expertise in a municipal setting. You will collaborate with departments across the Corporation to prepare meaningful financial analyses in order to ensure strong financial stewardship. Your work will directly support employees and residents across Thunder Bay.You'll also be part of a workplace that values respect, fosters growth, and promotes a culture of diversity, well-being, and collaboration.In this role, you will coordinate financial reporting, support funding initiatives, and provide analysis and guidance to support corporate objectives. You will also have the following accountabilities:Manage the financial, monitoring and reporting processes associated with funding applications, including coordination with staff across various departments, in order to complete accurate financial and statistical reporting as required by funding agencies and to ensure compliance with the terms of the funding agreements.Initiate and prepare financial reports, analyses, benchmarking, forecasts, cash flows, and other studies; interface with auditors, and internal and external resources as required.Manage a database of funding opportunities,
