Job Advertisement: Operations & Team Manager

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace? Our Client is seeking an organized, reliable, and people-oriented Manager to drive drive daily operations, mentor seasonal staff, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you will be the operational anchor of their team—balancing staff schedules, coordinating with production and bakery departments, and ensuring every customer leaves happy.

Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and support seasonal staff and floor managers.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training, promotions, and performance management.
- Organize and lead regular staff and management meetings.
- Provide ongoing feedback and track employee development throughout the season.

Daily Operations & Administration

- Create and manage weekly staff schedules, adapting to operational needs.
- Coordinate seamlessly with upper management, production, and bakery teams.
- Manage and process large orders, invoices,



and general operational inquiries.

Customer & Community Experience

- Act as the primary point of contact for customer questions, special requests, and escalated complaints.
- Plan and coordinate visits for school groups, summer camps, and other large groups.
- Review and manage community donation requests.

Qualifications

- Bilingual: Fully proficient in both French and English (verbal and written).
- Leadership: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a young, seasonal workforce.
- Operational Agility: Highly organized, responsible, and comfortable multitasking in a busy environment.
- Problem Solving: Able to handle challenging situations and resolve conflicts with professionalism and grace.
- Flexibility: Available to work evenings and weekends during our peak busy seasons.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
