Cowichan Eyecare is looking for a Pre-tester / Optical Assistant to join our clinic. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a career in eye care.

The Role

You’ll play an important part in the patient experience, supporting both the clinical team and front-end flow of the clinic.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

 Welcome patients and guide them through their visit

 Collect case histories and prepare patients for exams

 Perform pre-testing and assist with diagnostic equipment

 Administer eye drops and explain procedures

 Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment

 Help manage patient flow between reception and clinical areas

 Support contact lens training and follow-ups

 Keep patient records accurate and up to date
