Village Orthodontics is looking for a caring, detail-oriented and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our orthodontic team in London, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

- Bring patients in for their visit in a warm and enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every appointment.
- Perform orthodontic procedures including placement and removal of arch wires, elastics, separators, bands, brackets and appliances.
- Complete aligner and attachment insertion and provide patients with clear instructions for appliance and elastic use.
- Take impressions and support debanding procedures, including scaling and selective polishing as required.
- Monitor periodontal health and identify areas that may require further assessment.
- Ensure charting and medical histories are accurate and up to date.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and the importance of maintaining regular dental care throughout orthodontic treatment.
- Communicate with patients,



parents and family dentists regarding treatment progress and areas of concern when appropriate.
- Follow current asepsis and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect and cooperation.
- Assist with daily scheduling needs and perform any other tasks delegated or assigned by the Orthodontist or leadership team.

What we’re looking for:
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing
- Previous orthodontic experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- A patient-focused and collaborative approach to care

Location: London, Ontario This is a full-time, in-person position.
