Outside Sales Representative – Home Exteriors

Compensation: $38,000 base salary + uncapped commission + monthly performance bonuses

Target compensation: approximately $95,000+ annually based on achieving sales targets

City & Country Contracting Ltd. is growing, and we are looking for a motivated, professional Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team.

This is an active outside-sales position for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, generating opportunities and closing business. This is not an order-taking or exclusively inbound sales position. Successful reps are expected to actively build their own pipeline while also working Company-provided opportunities.

We provide exterior renovation and maintenance services throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, including roofing, roof rejuvenation, gutters, fascia, siding, exterior repairs and related home improvement services.

What You'll Do:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will:

- Respond to Company-provided leads promptly and professionally
- Generate new opportunities through door-to-door canvassing and neighbourhood prospecting
- Develop referrals, networking relationships and other self-generated opportunities
- Attend home shows, community events and other sales-development activities
- Meet homeowners at their properties and determine their needs, goals, timing and budget
- Conduct exterior inspections, take measurements, photographs and detailed project notes
- Prepare and present professional proposals using Company pricing and systems
- Clearly explain recommended products, services, project scopes and options
- Consistently follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process
- Negotiate and close approved projects
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in our Connect Flow CRM
- Provide complete project information to our production team after a sale
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, product training, coaching and role-playing




- Maintain a skilled appearance and represent City & Country Contracting positively in the community

Compensation:

This position includes

$38,000 annual base salary

Healthy commission on Eligible Gross Profit

Monthly Gross Profit performance bonuses

Our initial monthly performance target is $32,000 in gross profit, with a target of approximately 28 qualified self-generated leads per month.

A representative consistently achieving the initial monthly sales target can earn approximately $95,000+ annually, with additional earning potential for higher performers. Actual earnings depend on sales activity, closing performance, project profitability and other factors.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is:

- Motivated by performance and earning potential
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners
- Confident conducting face-to-face sales presentations
- Comfortable with door-to-door and neighbourhood prospecting
- Organized and disciplined with follow-up
- Able to learn construction products, terminology and estimating processes
- Comfortable using CRM software, mobile apps and digital sales tools
- Professional in appearance and communication
- Coachable and willing to participate in sales training
- Able to work independently while being accountable to a sales team
- Honest, dependable and committed to providing a strong customer experience

Previous experience in home improvement, construction, roofing, exterior renovations, automotive sales, real estate, telecommunications, direct sales or other commission-based sales environments is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Language Requirements:





Professional English communication skills are required because this position involves direct communication with customers, explaining project scopes and proposals, presenting contracts and documenting customer information.

Additional languages are a strong asset, particularly:

- Punjabi
- Mandarin
- Cantonese
- Other languages commonly spoken throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

Additional Requirements

- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation suitable for travelling to customer appointments
- Ability to travel throughout the Company's service territory
- Comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends based on customer appointments, home shows and events
- Comfortable working outdoors while conducting inspections and neighbourhood prospecting
- Ability to use a smartphone, CRM and other digital tools
