Job Summary

Join our dynamic security team as an Overnight Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and protection of our facilities during nighttime hours. In this role, you will monitor premises, enforce security protocols, and respond swiftly to any incidents, all while maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your expertise in surveillance, law enforcement procedures, and loss prevention will be essential to uphold our commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches during overnight shifts
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with security policies
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations throughout your shift




- Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action
- Perform routine inspections of the premises to ensure safety protocols are followed and equipment is functioning properly

Experience

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours for extended periods
- Solid communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders or team members
- Certification in security operations or relevant training programs is a plus but not mandatory
