Northern Waterworks Inc. is seeking a dedicated Water/Wastewater Operator in Ignace, Ontario. This full time, permanent role involves ensuring the safety and quality of municipal water supplies, with a focus on operational excellence. As a Water/Wastewater Operator, you will oversee the treatment plants and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with all necessary legislation.

Solid candidates will be able to obtain OIT certificates and have practical experience addressing equipment maintenance. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including on-call responsibilities during weekends. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee wastewater treatment and sewage collection
Operate pumps, valves, and treatment machinery
Monitor water quality and conduct necessary tests
Ensure reporting compliance with environmental standards
Execute troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks Requirements:
OIT certification or above considered advantageous
High school diploma or GED required
Valid G driver’s license mandatory
First Aid and WHMIS certifications preferred
