Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload shipments using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper placement and secure transportation
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards
Assist with warehouse organization, including moving inventory within the facility to optimize space and accessibility
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and inventory records
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
Experience
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification required for driving responsibilities
Proven ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided for qualified candidates
Demonstrated experience in moving heavy loads safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and procedures is advantageous
