Duties
Operate X-ray machines to produce clear and accurate images of patients’ bones and internal organs
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely according to health standards
Review images for quality and clarity before submitting them for interpretation by radiologists
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
Follow strict safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
Collaborate with medical staff to schedule procedures and address patient needs effectively





Qualifications
Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and anatomy
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
Ability to follow detailed safety guidelines and maintain meticulous records
Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies
Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace
