This full time temporary role involves delivering essential support and life skills training to residents. As part of MPA Society, you will help empower those dealing with mental health challenges through advocacy, case planning, and personal development.
This position requires collaboration with healthcare specialists and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyle choices among tenants. Your efforts will directly impact the community's well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in case planning with clients and service providers
Advocate for client needs, including housing issues
Observe and assess client behavior in emergencies
Provide training on life skills like budgeting and hygiene
Document and maintain client care plans and reports Requirements:
At least two years of relevant post-secondary education
Minimum two years’ experience in mental health services
Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and crisis intervention
Experience assisting individuals at risk of homelessness
