Shape the Vancouver School Board's facilities management strategy as a Manager in Facilities Maintenance. Lead the technical services for plumbing, heating, and overall infrastructure. As a key leader in the Vancouver School Board, this position will guide the maintenance and operational oversight of the District’s mechanical systems.

Working under the Senior Manager, you will manage a team ensuring that safety and efficiency are prioritized in all initiatives. Your strategic oversight will ensure the reliable performance of facilities supporting education and community services. Key Responsibilities:
Direct maintenance, repair, and operational strategies
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety practices




Lead capacity development for workforce and technical staff
Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Implement capital planning and project oversight Requirements:
At least seven years in facilities maintenance
Minimum three years of supervisory experience
Background in managing complex institutional settings
Solid interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
