Shop Helper / Assembly Worker

Little John Rentals is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our shop team.

We design and build our heated portable toilets in-house from the ground up. We are looking for someone to help with the complete building and assembly process.

No previous fabrication experience is required. We will train the right person.

What you'll be doing:
Help build our heated portable toilet units from the ground up
Measure, cut, drill and assemble materials
Use hand tools and power tools
Install walls, doors, flooring and other components
Assist with installation of heaters, lights, sinks and related components
Help with basic electrical and plumbing assembly
Repair and modify existing units when required
Keep the shop, tools and materials clean and organized
Assist with other shop and equipment projects as needed

We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with their hands and building things
Is mechanically inclined
Is willing to learn
Can safely use or learn to use power tools




Can accurately use a tape measure
Is dependable and punctual
Pays attention to detail
Can work independently and with others
Is physically capable of lifting and moving building materials

Experience in construction, carpentry, fabrication, mechanics, electrical, plumbing or general shop work is an asset, but not required.

Little John Rentals has been serving Saskatchewan since 1980. Our heated portable toilet units are designed and built in-house for Saskatchewan's climate. We're looking for someone who wants to work, learn recent skills and take pride in seeing something they helped build go from raw materials to a finished product.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
