You'll help ensure service reliability, support employee success, respond to operational and customer service challenges, and contribute to the safe and effective delivery of public transit throughout the community.In this role, you will provide front-line operational leadership and field supervision to Transit Operators while helping ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and customer-focused transit services. You will also have the following accountabilities:Responsible for field supervision of Section staff including monitoring performance, coaching/mentoring, health & safety compliance, and risk assessment.Participate in deployment of staff and equipment as required and monitors on-road service levels to ensure vehicles and personnel are operating to ensure delivery of superior customer service.Monitor adherence to a highly time sensitive schedule and makes operational adjustments to maintain the proficiency of the service throughout the operating day.Inspect and assess the transit system infrastructure for defects and hazards, initiate corrective actions,



and review/report on work performed by contracted services.Monitor and control corporate risk and liability.
