Reporting to the Regional Payroll & BenefitsManager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, andcompliant payroll processing across multiple dealership locations.The Payroll Coordinator supports the organization bydelivering end-to-end payroll services for a diverse workforce, contributing tooperational excellence, employee satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Thisposition works closely with HR, Finance, and dealership leadership whilesupporting payroll and benefits administration for a large, fast-paced, andunionized environment.The expected annual salary for this position is$63,000.00 - $70,000.00Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly and semi-monthly payroll forapproximately 150–300 employees, including hourly, salaried, and commissionedstaffEnter and maintain employee data including newhires, status changes, voluntary deductions, and terminations in the payrollsystemCalculate and process new hire pay, terminationpay, bonuses,



retroactive adjustments, and other payroll correctionsPrepare and process off-cycle payroll runs,including final pays and discrepancy resolutionsEnsure accurate calculation and processing ofstatutory and voluntary deductions, garnishments, and perks contributionsPrepare, issue, and submit Records of Employment(ROEs) for terminations and leavesAdminister company group benefits, includingregistering new employees through online benefits platformsEnsure payroll processing complies with BCemployment standards, labour laws, and union agreementsJournalize and post payroll-related entries andsupport payroll-related general ledger activitiesReconcile monthly payroll accounts as directedand assist with payroll audits and reportingPrepare on-demand cheques for payroll-relateditems as requiredCollaborate effectively with Payroll teammembers while managing highly time-sensitive deadlinesDemonstrate strong organizational andproblem-solving skills in a high-volume environmentComplete additional payroll and benefits-relatedtasks as assigned by the Regional Payroll & Benefits ManagerQualifications RequiredExperience3–5years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location organizationExperienceprocessing payroll in a unionized environmentProvenexperience managing payroll for a large employee populationSkills & KnowledgeStrongworking knowledge of BC labour and employment standards as they relate topayrollPayrollsystem experience required; PayWorks experience is considered an assetAdvancedproficiency in Microsoft ExcelHighlevel of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentialityAbilityto multitask, prioritize, and meet strict payroll deadlinesStrongcommunication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independentlyOther RequirementsLegallyentitled to work in CanadaAbout DilawriIn addition to working with and learning from a team ofleading professionals in the automotive industry, our benefits include:Discountedemployee vehicle purchase programJob-specificcoaching & training programsEmployeewellness & assistance programsEmployeesocial eventsBuild your career with a team thatis driven byexcellence,integrityand innovation.
