May work independently and instructor coach others.We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician to join our team in (Edmonton, AB).You will make an impact in the following ways:Perform and document preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities on manufacturing equipmentSupport equipment uptime through troubleshooting, failure analysis, and quality workmanshipPerform maintenance work using diagrams, manuals, specifications, measuring devices, and testing instrumentsConduct quality inspections and follow all process documentation, quality procedures, and safety requirementsIdentify and help reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and support continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including routine housekeeping and equipment cleaningProvide feedback to preventive maintenance systems and raise issues that impact quality, safety, or costCoach and support less experienced team members while serving as a technical resourceParticipate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities focused on safety, quality, process improvement, and employee developmentAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and actively promote a safe workplaceIn order to be successful in this role, you will need the following:Significant maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience obtained through work, training, or educationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and associated safety controlsAbility to perform skilled maintenance activities with minimal supervisionExperience interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specificationsCommitment to quality workmanship, safety,
