What This Role Will Be Doing

Summary: Responsible for preparing, slitting, labeling, and managing foil rolls to support production. Ensures material accuracy, quality, inventory control, and safe machine operation.

Key Duties




Review daily slitting schedule and prepare foils accordingly
Check existing stock before slitting; follow FIFO rules
Operate and monitor the slitting machine safely at all times
Dyne test all current rolls and maintain correct tension during slitting
Limit each roll to a maximum of three slits and label rolls accurately
Ensure correct patterns, grain consistency, and color separation
Identify, label, and report defective or re-rolled foils
Communicate material availability and issues with the Machine Team Leader
Maintain foil inventory counts and update tracking documentation
Work with Machine Operators to reduce waste and use materials efficiently
Keep the Slitting Station clean, organized, and audit-ready
Assist Machine or Shipping Departments when available
