We're hiring a Wastewater Treatment Plant Mechanic to ensure the mechanical integrity of our facilities. This role combines technical skills in equipment repair and operational support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems at the plant.

You will work on pumps, blowers, and valves, utilizing your expertise in welding and electrical maintenance. Seasonal responsibilities including snow removal and occasional plant operation are also part of this skilled position. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections on plant equipment
Repair and replace defective parts and controls
Maintain accurate inspection records
Carry out welding repairs on various materials
Contribute to snow removal operations in winter Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with mechanical courses
Valid Nebraska Driver’s License required
Class I wastewater treatment operator’s certificate within one year
Experience in wastewater operations preferred
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately Enhance the effectiveness of our treatment operations with your mechanical skills and experience.
