Technician – Mobility Aid Repair & Installation

Health Is Best is a growing Home Healthcare & Mobility Aid business based in Fergus, Ontario. We provide mobility and home healthcare products, equipment rentals, repairs, installations, and personalized service to our local community.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hands-on Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is an in office position in Fergus, Ontario, with a start date in September 2026.

Responsibilities
Repair and service mobility aids and related equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Install grab bars and stairlift systems
Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and basic repairs
Assist with deliveries, installations, and other technical tasks as required
Work collaboratively with the team and assist with other store duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the business
Provide friendly and skilled service to customers

Qualifications
Previous hands-on experience in repair, maintenance, installation,



or a related technical field
Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience is an asset
Experience with mobility aids, healthcare equipment, or similar products is an asset
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
Reliable, practical, and willing to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Available to work Monday to Thursday

Training Training will be provided on our products, equipment, and installation procedures, including stairlift installation and service.
