Duties

- Engage with customers to understand their renovation needs and recommend suitable paint products and supplies
- Provide expert advice on color selection, finishes, and application techniques
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and inventory management
- Upsell premium products and complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Assist with merchandising displays to create attractive, organized product presentations that inspire customers
- Support inside sales efforts through phone inquiries, order processing, and account management




- Maintain excellent communication skills to build rapport with customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service during busy periods

Experience

- Previous experience in outside sales or retail sales environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
- Excellent organizational and skills to manage inventory, merchandising displays, and customer accounts efficiently
- Excellent communication skills.
