Description

This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for painting. All training is provided; Painting, maintenance, forklift, etc.

Responsibilities

- Represent Delta’s core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
- Follow Delta Elevator policies and procedures, Employee Handbook and Health & Safety Manual Guidelines.
- Loading/Unloading Paint line.
- Reviewing documentation to determine proper operation, colour, etc.
- Cleaning parts with solvent (PPE Provided).
- Spray painting using pressurized guns and pumps.
- Application of industrial glue to bond surfaces.
- Moving parts to the next work station or storage area.
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment.
- Inspecting work for quality results.
- Using quality system including signing operations for parts.
- Cleaning, sweeping, indoor and outdoor maintenance.
- Maintenance of paint pumps and guns,



work area and paint storage area.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Mechanically apt (using hand tools, understanding of wrenches, hardware etc.).
- Physically capable (parts are heavy and need to be lifted and moved frequently).
- On the job training is provided.
- Blueprint reading.
- Excellent visual acuity, and colour discernment.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Self-motivated.
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.

INDLP Job Type: Full time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
