YEG Cooking Classes is looking for a Part time Prep Cook to support our hands-on cooking classes. YEG Cooking Classes is a hands-on culinary education extension of the Sorrentino's Restaurant Group, an Edmonton family restaurant business. We provide a diverse range of cooking experiences suitable for any occasion. Whether you’re organizing a fun date night, a memorable team-building event, or a private class tailored to your group’s needs, there’s something for everyone.

Located just north of Grant MacEwan, YEG Cooking Classes offers guests the opportunity to enhance their culinary skills in a fun, enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking classes, following recipe standards and consistent methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe prep station and storage areas.
- Support class setup and breakdown alongside our chef instructors.
- Follow proper procedures for allergens and dietary restrictions.




- Help maintain consistency and quality across recurring class menus.
- Follow proper food handling, labelling, and inventory practices.
- Additional duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of kitchen, prep cook, or food service experience is preferred.
- FoodSafe Certificate required, or willingness to obtain.
- Comfortable working independently and following recipe/prep standards precisely.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in a clean, organized kitchen.
- Available for part-time morning hours preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
- A team player who's excited to be part of a growing culinary brand.
