Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow established recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure accurate meal assembly
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Serve meals efficiently to senior tenants maintaining good service standards
- Assist with kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Support meal prep activities during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and energetic kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic kitchen experience including familiarity with cooking tools and equipment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
