Weekend availability required: We're looking for someone who is available to work either Saturday or Sunday. Shifts fall between 8:00am-8:00pm.
In this energetic role, you will assist with daily kennel operations, ensuring each animal receives the highest level of care and attention. Duties
- Clean and disinfect kennels, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment for all animals
- Feed and provide fresh water to animals according to established schedules and protocols
- Monitor animals’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the supervisor promptly
- Engage with animals through gentle handling and socialization to promote comfort and well-being
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, bedding, or equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of animal intake, discharge, and daily activities to ensure proper documentation

The ideal candidate must be comfortable and prepared to work in all types of weather including rain, snow, heat and cold. Please note: We are NOT on a bus route.
This position will start at one shift per week, with potential to increase during busier periods. Additional shifts will primarily be to cover vacation, sick days and other scheduling conflicts. We're looking for someone who is happy with a smaller, consistent schedule rather than seeking full-time or increasing hours.
