Urban Gate is looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team in Coquitlam, BC.

We are currently hiring for two separate positions:

- POSITION #1 – SERVER

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We are looking for a friendly and professional Server who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff
- Handle customer requests and concerns professionally
- Follow food safety and liquor service requirements

Qualifications:

- Previous restaurant/server experience is preferred
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Serving It Right certification is an asset

- POSITION #2 – KITCHEN COOK

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We are also looking for an experienced and dependable Kitchen Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:





- Prepare and cook menu items according to Urban Gate standards
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow food safety and health regulations
- Assist with inventory, receiving, and proper food storage
- Work efficiently with other kitchen team members during busy periods

Qualifications:

- Previous kitchen or restaurant cooking experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
