Report any breakdowns or damages in a timely mannerSupport all production needs, i.E., bring materials or racks to the production line, move WIP to the appropriate location,



and move packaged materials to the designated zonesEnsure all production rack tags are accurate for inventory and material is stacked and stored properly for final delivery to customerArrange racks on trains appropriately to be processed in the aging ovenManually load and unload materials from skids and racksAccurately weigh and record materialsMaintain a safe and clean workspace at all timesResponsible to follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Can Art Company PoliciesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid forklift license (counterbalance)Minimum 2 years' experience driving a forkliftExperience in a manufacturing plant is an assetExperience with a combi lift is an assetSKILLS REQUIREDAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbalStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform well under pressureStrong attention to detailBasic computer skills are requiredKnowledge of health and safety best practices in a manufacturing environmentAuthorization to work in Canada without sponsorship is required.COMPENSATIONPay Rate: $26.30 – $26.80Eligible for overtime (as applicable)WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONPlant EnvironmentExposure to loud noise and heatAbility to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime as requiredDIVERSITY AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENTCan Art is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
