Joining BPA means putting your talent to work on meaningful projects, collaborating with recognized experts, and growing in a flexible, people-focused and forward-thinking environment.Your ImpactYou will provide financial oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial information and helping project teams proactively manage performance and risk.More specifically, you will:Oversee the financial performance of a portfolio of engineering projects, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project financial dataAct as a financial partner to project managers, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-makingLead regular project financial reviews with managers, including work in progress (WIP), revenue recognition, profitability, forecasting, and project risksAnalyze project performance against budgets, forecasts, and project progress, identifying trends, variances, and potential financial issuesProactively identify at-risk projects and work with project managers on appropriate actions related to additional fees, change directives, cost overruns, and other financial risksSupport and challenge project managers in understanding key financial indicators and improving the financial management of their projectsCollaborate closely with billing teams to support accurate and timely invoicing and project follow-upContribute to the development of project performance reports, KPIs, forecasts, and quarterly presentations for managementEnsure billable rates and other project financial information are maintained in accordance with contracts and applicable requirementsParticipate in month-end closing activities,



project accounting reviews, and the preparation of documentation for external auditsContribute to the development and continuous improvement of project control methodologies, financial processes, and project management toolsSupport the stabilization and continuous improvement of our ERP and project management systems following implementationHelp develop best practices and increase financial awareness among project managers across the organizationProfile SoughtBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldCPA designation considered an assetMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project control, project accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role, ideally within engineering, construction, consulting, or professional servicesStrong understanding of project financial management, including revenue recognition, work in progress (WIP), profitability analysis, forecasting, and project accountingStrong financial analysis skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear insights and recommendationsAbility to build strong relationships with project managers and effectively challenge and influence stakeholdersExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across Finance, operations, and multidisciplinary teamsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and project files simultaneouslyProficiency in French and English,
