Duties

- Assist speech language pathologists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs
- Work closely with neurodivergent children, supporting their functional communication, speech and language and social skill development under the supervision of a speech language pathologist
- Supporting children with motor speech, articulation/phonological, receptive language, expressive language, and social communication needs
- Experience documenting sessions, collecting data on goals and progress, and communicating observations to the supervising SLP
- Document patient progress and communicate observations to the speech language pathologist
- Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment
- Experience collaborating with SLPs, OTs, psychologists, behavioural consultants,



teachers, educational assistants, and families
- Experience providing services in clinic, home, school, daycare, or community settings

Requirements

- Diploma from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program
- Experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders) (preferred)
- Knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
- Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle to support home and community-based services.

Additional Assets ✨ Experience supporting clients and families with use of AAC Devices

✨ Experience working with motor speech disorders

✨ Bilingual skills (language diversity is a strength!)

Job Types: Part-Time (Can build to full time)

Additional pay:

Commission pay

Pay: $45.00-$54.00 per hour
