Advance your career as a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Vaughan or Thunder Bay, ON. The focus is on underground shaft sinking design work and engineering consulting experience. This role seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a solid preference for underground shaft sinking project expertise.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of about 60 engineers. Engage with clients and vendors, and contribute to the design and study work for various projects in the pipeline. Key Responsibilities:
Lead design efforts for underground shaft sinking operations
Work collaboratively within a large engineering team
Interact with clients to ensure project needs are accurately addressed
Identify and source necessary equipment and professional services
Execute study work for recent client initiatives and EPC projects Requirements:
Significant experience with underground engineering design
Strong background in consulting engineering, ideally with Stantec
Competence in working with hoist systems is essential
Willingness to participate in occasional site visits
