Balcony Grill is looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Restaurant Server to join our front-of-house team.

This is primarily an evening position. Shifts typically start around 4:30 PM and end around 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:30 PM on weekends.

We are looking for someone who communicates well with guests and coworkers, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and provides attentive and skilled service during busy dinner hours.

Base wage starts at $15/hour, plus tips. Total hourly earnings are typically around $19–23/hour, depending on shifts and business volume.

Responsibilities
Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant POS system
Explain menu items and answer guest questions clearly
Serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately
Check on guests during their meal and respond to requests promptly
Process cash and card payments accurately
Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members
Assist with opening, closing, and assigned side duties
Work efficiently during busy dinner and weekend service





Qualifications
Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred
Strong spoken English is required for communicating with guests
Mandarin Chinese is an asset
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
Reliable, punctual, and responsible
Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments
Able to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be available for evening shifts starting around 4:30 PM
Weekday shifts typically end around 10:30 PM
Weekend shifts may run until around 11:30 PM
Weekend availability is required
Must work well as part of a team
