Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Respite Worker to provide essential support and relief to individuals with diverse needs. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as trained and authorized
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
Monitor health status,



report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals promptly
Assist with transfers, heavy lifting, and mobility support to ensure safety during movement

Skills
Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home settings is highly valued
Solid patient care skills with a focus on senior care, dementia care, hospice care or individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with patience and attentiveness
Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
