Lead parks operations for the Cowichan Valley Regional District and influence how the community enjoys nature. Your leadership will enhance the management of local parks. As the Park Operations Manager, this role reports to the Senior Manager, Parks & Trails Division, focusing on delivering exceptional park services.

You'll manage maintenance, compliance, and risk management while developing budgets and coordinating projects. Your experience in park operations will drive improvements in our natural spaces. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee maintenance and project management for parks
Enforce compliance and risk management programs
Supervise and coordinate park staff and contractors
Prepare and review operational budgets for compliance
Build community relationships with stakeholders Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Six years of experience in parks management
Three years in a supervisory capacity
Class 5 BC Drivers License required
Holding First Aid Level 1 with CPR certification Enhance the Cowichan Valley's parks and recreational spaces through effective leadership and management.
