The Research

Coordinator will assist in examining the efficacy of Indigenous teaching methods and coordinate with law students and Indigenous communities. This full time in office position has a flexible start date and extends until December 2028. Key Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis from participant interviews
Develop literature reviews centered on Indigenous legal orders
Document insights from participatory art activities




Facilitate collaborative circles in accordance with Indigenous protocols
Guide and mentor junior staff and students Requirements:
Master's degree in Indigenous pedagogies or related area
Evidence of relevant research experience
Solid research and writing capabilities
Excellent organizational skills and initiative
Capacity for effective independent and grouped work Contribute your research skills focused on Indigenous law to Lakehead University's evolving educational landscape.
