Demonstrated clinical, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to make informed decisions in emergency situations and on a daily basis. Recognize own level of functioning, seeking direction when necessary.
Skill proficiency in the areas of medication administration, documentation, staff supervision, physical assessment, and other nursing skills as required. Take initiative for developing own clinical competence. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Exhibit listening and empathy skill; supportive and sensitive to people. Demonstrated effective horizontal and vertical relationships on the unit and within the organization. Ability to maintain a secure and harmonious working setting.
Experience working with Long Term Care required. Knowledge in charting systems such as PCC and Catalyst are recommended.
