Purchaser Responsibilities:
Assist departments in obtaining pricing/cost/shipping/warranty and other pertinent information related to products and services
Prepare and process requisitions
Ensure timely and accurate supplier delivery
Develop and maintain monthly reports
Arrange transportation services
Preparation of customs documentation
Participate in audits
Work in MRO/stockrooms as needed
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support activities on all shifts

Purchaser Job Requirements:
College Diploma / SCMP or equivalent experience
5 years, in an office environment, with Purchasing experience
Must be able to use standard presentation techniques via Power Point
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally, listen and in writing
Must be able to maintain qualified decorum at all times
Must be able to encourage a “team” environment




Must be able to provide business reports, analysis and or data that are appropriate for the circumstance
