Piano Instructor to teach students of all ages from 4 years and up to discover the joy of music through piano playing.
Duties
Design and deliver piano lessons tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, parents goals for the students and learning style
Incorporate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and technique into lessons
Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances to showcase their progress
Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student development
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student achievements
Experience
Minimum RCM Level 7 or 8 Piano and Music Theory qualified
Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Education is preferred
Proven teaching experience in teaching piano to students of various ages & skill levels
Robust background in education principles applied within music instruction
This is a part time paid prospect designed to help you share your passion for music while making a positive difference in students’ lives. Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2.0 per week
