Together, we are EXP.Job DescriptionSt. Johns, NL, Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ONAre you ready to design your future?Be our next Senior Civil Designer, Mining – Independent Contractor!What a day at EXP has in store for youPrepare civil earthwork engineering drawings and Civil 3D models based on engineering data forDams and Water Retention StructuresTailings Storage FacilitiesWaste Rock Storage FacilitiesSite earthwork planning and developmentSite grading and drainageAccess roads and facilities infrastructureStormwater management plans including design of retention and detention ponds, lift stations, controlled dischargeCoordinate with other disciplinesPerform periodic site visits for field checks as requiredWork alongside the Civil engineering teamProvide technical support to project teamPrepare civil Material Take-OffsOther responsibilities include preparing as-built drawings, designing, and detailing recent components from previous designs,



implementing the preparation of specifications, design computations, drawings, models and performing volumetric calculationsSupport multiple projects, client deadlines and deliverablesWhat Your Experience Looks LikeA college degree or diplomaExcellent knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD with recent project experienceA minimum of 10 years of EPCM/design experience.Experience within the mining industryExcellent written and oral communication skillsThe hourly range for this role is between $65 - $75.
