Provide personal support, coach & mentor 50year old male intellectually challenged with autism 41-45 hours per week Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm inside & outside the home. Assist in all aspects of daily living which includes but not limited to meals, personal care, cleaning, work, social & recreation. Provide guidance & support especially through behavioral challenges
Job Requirements
Completion of high school, post secondary education & related experience
One year experience providing support & care to challenged individuals
Understanding & assertive with an outgoing personality as well as ability to communicate, organize & plan
Ability to support individual in various situations
Eagerness to have a positive effect on the client. A strong commitment to support & promote needs & skills
Must provide proof of current criminal/sexual/vulnerability/abuse check
Car an asset
Non smoker
