Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions, maintaining accuracy and safety standards
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic living space
- Help clients with mobility exercises and transfers to promote physical health and independence




- Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly

Requirements

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Solid caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided if necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
