Pharmacy Assistant – CityMed Pharmacy

CityMed Pharmacy is hiring a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will support pharmacists with prescription processing, customer service, inventory, medication preparation, deliveries, and daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

- Enter and process prescriptions using WinRx
- Handle refill requests and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with medication preparation, labeling, and compounding
- Manage inventory, stock, and pharmacy supplies
- Maintain prescription filing and documentation
- Assist with medication reviews, vaccinations, and other pharmacy services
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy
- Assist with medication deliveries and delivery records
- Follow pharmacy policies, confidentiality requirements, and provincial regulations

Qualifications




- Previous pharmacy or customer service experience preferred
- WinRx experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using smartphones and Google Maps
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence is an asset
